Find the real end date

Check the minimum-term end date, current price and any exit fee. Set a reminder 30 days before the term ends so you can negotiate before an out-of-contract price starts.

Compare like with like

For broadband, compare setup fees, guaranteed speed, annual pound-and-pence rises and post-offer price. For mobile, match data to recent use and check coverage where you live and work.

Use the protected switch routes
